Video Production Intern

About the role#

Axis Communications is seeking a Video Production Intern to join the Creative Brand Services team at the Americas headquarters. This role offers hands-on experience within a professional in-house production studio, providing exposure to the full production lifecycle, from concept development and studio setup to final editing and delivery.

What you'll do#

• Support the video production team in creating engaging marketing and brand content.
• Assist with studio setup and breakdown, including lighting, audio, cameras, and set design.
• Perform basic video editing tasks while developing advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Organize and maintain studio equipment, props, and production assets, including tracking inventory and firmware updates.
• Participate in pre-production planning meetings and document key project details.
• Contribute to the full video production workflow, from creative concept through final release.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Art, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A creative mindset with an eye for visual storytelling.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Beginner-level experience in at least one of the following: videography, studio lighting, photography, or video editing.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
