About the role#
Axis Communications is seeking an Event Intern for the Fall 2026 term to support our event schedule at our Americas headquarters in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position for students currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
What you'll do#
- Assist in executing show services orders and managing content for event management systems.
- Research creative giveaway and activity concepts for both in-person and virtual events, including vendor sourcing, ordering, and shipping logistics.
- Maintain tracking logistics for materials and tasks assigned to events.
- Organize event feedback and format data for analysis to provide suggestions for future improvements.
- Support the event registration process to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Gain experience with event management systems by supporting the build-out and facilitation of live events.
What you'll need#
- Ongoing Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0-1 years of experience in event coordination and customer service.
- Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, independent work style.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to occasionally lift 20-25 lbs.
