The Construction Administration Intern will support the construction department at Atlanta Habitat for Humanity. This role involves assisting with administrative projects, coordinating homeowner maintenance requests, and preparing paperwork for the 2026 home build schedule. This is a paid, full-time equivalent opportunity for students majoring in Business Administration, Communications, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
What you'll do#
- Attend New Hire Orientation and learn the goals of the construction team.
- Work on designated construction administration projects and support the department as needed.
- Become proficient in internal software systems, including Monday.com, Salesforce, and Buildertrend.
- Respond to emails and coordinate homeowner maintenance requests.
- Prepare documentation for the 2026 home build schedule.
What you'll need#
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Proven time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform sedentary work at a desk for long periods and lift up to 15 pounds.
Location & details#
- Location: Atlanta, GA.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Minimum of 12 hours per week, scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday.
- Term: Rolling.
