    About the role#

    Aspire Software is seeking an M&A Intern to join our team for the Fall 2026 term. This role offers hands-on experience in the mergers and acquisitions sector, providing exposure to investment processes and business development within the software industry. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Montreal, Quebec.

    What you'll do#

    • Independently source and identify potential software investment opportunities.
    • Build and maintain a robust investment pipeline.
    • Perform financial modelling and commercial due diligence.
    • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis.
    • Travel to meet and engage with businesses globally.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program or a recent graduate in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Fluency in English (additional languages are considered an asset).
