SW Engineer Intern, iOS (AI-Assisted Development)

About the role#

We are hiring an iOS Engineering Intern to join our team in Milpitas, California. You will work alongside senior engineers to build and improve iOS experiences, contributing to production-ready features. This role focuses on integrating AI-assisted workflows and developer agents to improve engineering speed, quality, and decision-making across the development lifecycle. You may also support Growth initiatives aimed at improving onboarding, retention, and user engagement.

What you'll do#

• Develop and ship features within an iOS application.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to build polished user experiences.
• Improve app performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews.
• Debug issues and contribute to improvements in the mobile development workflow.
• Contribute to AI-assisted workflows and internal tooling to help teams ship software more efficiently.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree program.
• Experience with Swift and/or Objective-C.
• Understanding of iOS fundamentals, including UIKit, networking, and the app lifecycle.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Combine, REST APIs, JSON, authentication flows, or unit/UI testing is a plus.
