Engineering Intern

About the role#

Android Industries is seeking an Engineering Intern to join the team in a full-time, on-site capacity. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in motor vehicle manufacturing processes and plant operations.

What you'll do#

• Develop and update Standardized Work Instructions for assembly processes.
• Conduct Level One ergonomic job analyses.
• Maintain plant layouts by creating and updating 2D drawings in AutoCAD.
• Collaborate in cross-functional groups to develop Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
• Evaluate production validation runs against established performance metrics.
• Present project updates to the plant leadership team.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an Engineering degree program, specifically Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Civil, Computer, or Chemical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to utilize pivot tables and macros.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week.
• Experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
