About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Interns will work on-site to gain experience in the financial services industry, collaborating with seasoned actuaries on projects that impact the business. Please note that this role does not provide immigration sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and actuarial supporting analyses.
- Participate in the development and pricing of new products.
- Analyze annuity and life insurance products.
- Communicate actuarial results to cross-functional areas.
- Utilize artificial intelligence tools and resources.
- Perform Excel spreadsheet automation and develop complex financial models.
What you'll need#
- Active pursuit of a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data Science, or Computer Science.
- Experience using Excel, VBA, or other programming languages.
- Superior communication, programming, and math skills.
- Completion of 1-2 SOA exams is preferred.
- Leadership experience is a plus.
