About the role#
Allen Lund Company offers a rolling internship in Plano, Texas. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position. The role is designed to provide practical experience in transportation brokerage and logistics operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with load tracking, tracing, and ensuring app compliance.
- Build loads, set up carriers, and schedule pickup and delivery appointments.
- Update customer systems with critical information and maintain active load data.
- Ensure proper documentation is sent to Carrier Resources.
- Contact insurance companies for certificates and verify carrier references.
- Call carriers to inquire about lanes, equipment types, and quantities.
- Support the accounting function and handle general office duties, including answering phones.
- Uphold company standards by following established principles.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or background in Business Administration, Logistics, Communications, or Supply Chain Management.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to multitask and maintain high attention to detail.

- Location: Plano, Texas (On-site).
- Compensation: $15-$16 per hour.
