About the role#
This is a full-time, 12-week paid internship for Summer 2026. You will work directly under the Engineering & Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager, collaborating with the production, operations, and quality departments to support plant performance and reliability.
What you'll do#
- Establish sequences of operations for manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
- Contribute ideas to enhance Visual Factory standards and increase productivity on assembly lines.
- Support CI and manufacturing team members in the development and implementation of projects, including Kaizen events and 5S initiatives.
- Design improvements for material flow and plant transportation, such as carts and cabinets.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering program.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including production and quality departments.
- Interest in manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
