About the role#
This internship provides exposure to core actuarial functions including pricing, reserving, capital management, and predictive modeling. You will participate in business-unit consulting and support risk management initiatives while working toward the passage of actuarial exams. The role focuses on transforming raw data into actionable insights that help customers identify and manage their financial risks.
What you'll do#
- Develop technical capabilities in large-account pricing and actuarial modeling.
- Translate complex data sets into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business units on risk management projects.
- Dedicate time to the Casualty Actuarial Societies accreditation process.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university degree program for the fall semester following the internship.
- Successful completion of two or more actuarial exams.
- Previous actuarial internship or related professional experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or statistical analysis software.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
