PCMag is seeking an Editorial Intern to join our News, Features, and Reviews teams. This role is designed for individuals in the early stages of their career who have a foundational knowledge of the technology industry. You will work alongside writers and editors to gain hands-on experience in digital media, with opportunities to earn bylined pieces on the site.
What you'll do#
- Assist with product testing and draft reviews under editorial guidance.
- Write news and longer-form articles on the latest tech products, services, how-to guides, and tips.
- Participate in the editing process, including proofreading and formatting stories.
- Contribute to various editorial projects as needed to help deliver tech buying advice.
What you'll need#
- Availability to work 20-29 hours per week.
- Demonstrable writing and/or editing experience beyond classwork.
- A strong affinity for technology and a willingness to learn.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Self-motivation and the adaptability to pitch in where needed.
- Recommended majors include Journalism, Communications, English, Media Studies, or Computer Science.
Location & details#
- This is a paid position at $25/hr.
- The role is remote, though local candidates near New York, NY or New Jersey are preferred.
- The internship has an initial term of three months.
