About the role#
As an Intern in Corporate Affairs, you will gain hands-on experience supporting integrated communications programs for clients across various industries. You will work alongside communications professionals to develop foundational skills in media relations, content development, and strategic research while contributing to daily client operations.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with account teams to support daily client programs and ensure project deliverables remain on track.
- Conduct research on industries, companies, competitors, and media trends to inform strategic recommendations.
- Draft and edit communications materials, including media pitches, press releases, fact sheets, briefing materials, social content, and presentations.
- Support media relations by developing media lists, monitoring coverage, and assisting with journalist outreach.
- Assist with event planning, logistics, and on-site support, including the coordination of materials and vendor communications.
- Participate in team brainstorms and training opportunities to build skills in integrated marketing and corporate communications.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in public relations, corporate communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong research, writing, and organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A proactive, curious approach to learning and contributing to team success.
