About the role#
The Sport Science Intern will support the Sport Science Department during the Fall 2026 term. This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Las Vegas, Nevada. You will work within the department to apply academic knowledge to real-world operations and contribute to performance-based research and organizational objectives.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Sport Science Department with daily monitoring and assessment tasks.
- Aid in the planning, preparation, and calibration of testing equipment and evaluation activities.
- Implement monitoring and assessment interventions to support research and performance goals.
- Handle data processing, maintain databases, and perform data analytics.
- Ensure the laboratory and its equipment remain clean and hygienic by following all safety and maintenance protocols.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an institution of higher education pursuing a degree in Kinesiology, Biomedical Sciences, Health Administration, Public Health, Psychology, or Biology.
- Current residency in the United States.
- Strong data management and analysis skills.
- Ability to deliver a variety of physiological testing protocols and follow methodological procedures.
- Experience working with athletes in weight-categorized sports is desired.
