As a Pension Outsourcing Intern, you will gain real-world business experience by supporting defined benefit plans. You will work under the guidance of senior team members, including plan administrators and actuaries, to deliver high-quality outsourcing services. This internship is designed to provide insight into pension plan administration and design while preparing you for future career growth.
What you'll do#
- Perform routine plan administration tasks such as benefit calculations and annual data updates.
- Assist with the preparation of benefit statements and other ad hoc client support services.
- Participate in instructor-led and self-study training to understand pension plan structures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure unified service delivery and efficient output using internal tools.
- Adhere to specific plan documents and government regulations in all administrative activities.
- Actively engage in team meetings and project work.
What you'll need#
- Current college student (at least a junior) with a planned graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Preferred majors include Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance, or other programs with significant quantitative coursework.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Prior work experience demonstrating technical or client service skills.
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a team environment.

- Location: Boston, MA.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, requiring a mix of remote and in-office work.
- Compensation: $20–$22 per hour, eligible for overtime.
