About the role#
WNC Corporation is seeking a Field Application Engineer intern to support the validation and performance evaluation of wireless communication systems. This role involves working directly with senior engineers to ensure system reliability and optimize performance for LTE and 5G NR technologies.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate wireless network performance through active field testing and validation.
- Collect and analyze customer requirements and feedback to inform system improvements.
- Partner with senior engineers to diagnose system issues and validate new product features.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of 5G protocols, RF, Antenna, NTN, O-RAN standards, and broadband technologies.
- Hands-on experience with 5G products, Wi-Fi routers, IoT platforms, and network diagnostics.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
