QA Co-op (8‑Month Term – Sept 1st Start | Final Year Students)

About the role#

This is an 8-month QA Co-op position starting September 1, 2026, based in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia. You will join the R&D department to support the testing and deployment automation of carrier-grade video transcoder products. This role involves hands-on work with embedded firmware, front-end UI applications, and testing methodologies including black-box, white-box, and chaos engineering.

What you'll do#

• Build and maintain automation tools and scripts for deployment and testing.
• Define and maintain test plans and strategies aligned with project goals.
• Write clean, reliable, and maintainable code to support testing efforts.
• Manage tasks, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Track product quality metrics and report defects with clarity.
• Collaborate with developers and QA leads to enhance overall product robustness.

What you'll need#

• Final-year undergraduate student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong experience with Python.
• Familiarity with C/C++.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins.
• Must reside in the Greater Vancouver area and be able to commute to Pitt Meadows.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

• Location: Pitt Meadows, British Columbia.
• Work Modality: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote, with the option to work fully in-office).
• Compensation: $3,800 monthly.
• Duration: 8-month term.
