Machinist Technician Intern - Off Shift

About the role#

Williams International is seeking a Machinist Technician Intern for an off-shift position in Ogden, Utah. This role is a paid, full-time internship that provides hands-on training in aerospace component manufacturing. Upon successful completion of the program, interns may be eligible for permanent full-time employment as a Machinist Technician.

What you'll do#

• Complete the CNC Machine Operator program within 4-6 months.
• Gain familiarization with manufacturing processes, including gaging and controller operation.
• Perform deburring and part finishing tasks.
• Develop skills in basic blue-print reading.
• Work under the supervision of a Manufacturing Team Leader or mentor.

What you'll need#

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• U.S. Citizenship status.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting 50 pounds, pushing or pulling 60 pounds, and reaching above the shoulder (65 inches).
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if required.
• Previous exposure to a machining curriculum or familiarity with CNC setup and operation is preferred but not required.
• Preferred majors include Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Business Administration.
