About the role#
Williams International is seeking a Machining Intern to support manufacturing operations in Utah. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in aerospace component manufacturing. Interns must maintain at least 20 hours per week, with the option to work up to 40 hours depending on availability and business needs. Participants are expected to maintain a 67% progress rate in their academic program to remain in the internship.
What you'll do#
- Ensure product safety and maintain high quality standards in all work.
- Read, understand, and interpret manufacturing requirements.
- Interact effectively with team members, customers, and management.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs (using lift assist for weights exceeding 50 lbs) and pushing or pulling up to 60 lbs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a machinist certificate program at a Utah Technology College.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum age of 18 at the start of the internship.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude.
- Grip strength of at least 50 lbs.
- U.S. citizenship.
