About the role#
West Fraser is seeking a Treasury Intern for an 8-month term beginning September 1, 2026. This full-time, paid position is based at our corporate office in Vancouver, British Columbia. The role focuses on supporting the treasury team with key financial controls and vendor management.
What you'll do#
- Perform vendor callbacks as a key control against fraud.
- Collaborate with business partners to ensure vendor records are accurately updated.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing treasury processes.
- Conduct ad hoc treasury-related analysis as required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related degree program.
- Self-confidence and excellent communication skills, with comfort making phone calls.
- Strong attention to detail when researching vendor information.
- Ability to represent West Fraser values when interacting with vendors.
