IT Intern

About the role#

The IT Intern – Data, Automation & Solutions will support the Information Technology function by partnering with cross-functional departments to design technology-driven solutions. This role provides hands-on experience in database design, data analysis, automation, and system optimization to help improve efficiency and data accessibility across the organization.

What you'll do#

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather and translate business and technical requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and support relational database design.
• Build Python-based scripts and automations to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Analyze data to identify trends and drive process improvements, presenting insights through dashboards such as Tableau.
• Support system enhancements, integrations, and the evaluation of AI-enabled tools.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including process maps, technical notes, and user guidance.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Demonstrated interest in data, automation, and emerging technologies, including AI.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• High level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods as part of normal day-to-day activities.
