Medication Mixing Technician- Intern

About the role#

As a Medication Mixing Technician Intern, you will work on-site in our mixing lab to support the production of customized medications. This is a full-time, paid internship focused on precision, quality, and adherence to established pharmaceutical formulas. You will contribute to our mission of improving animal health by ensuring medications are prepared accurately and efficiently.

What you'll do#

• Prepare and flavor compounded medications while following strict production procedures.
• Measure and mix ingredients with precision using basic math skills.
• Maintain consistent mixing processes and monitor batches to meet quality standards.
• Keep accurate documentation and detailed batch records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and production-ready lab workspace.
• Support production goals to ensure timely delivery of medications.

What you'll need#

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willingness to obtain a New Jersey Pharmacy Technician License (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for the duration of a shift in a lab setting.
• Ability to follow complex formulas and batch instructions.
• Comfortable working with chemicals used in compounding.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, production, or compounding is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented attitude.

• Location: Swedesboro, New Jersey.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Full-time; multiple shifts available including Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM.
• Term: Rolling.
