QA Intern

About the role#

Wahed is looking for a QA Intern to support the Product team in ensuring a high-quality experience across our iOS and Android mobile applications. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you will deep-dive into user flows, validate regional configurations, and ensure content accuracy. While this is primarily a manual testing position, there is optional exposure to automation tools.

What you'll do#

• Test complete end-to-end user journeys within the mobile app.
• Validate newly developed features before and after release.
• Perform regression testing for every release cycle.
• Test regional configurations to ensure correct behavior across markets.
• Review and validate in-app content for accuracy, clarity, and regional relevance.
• Identify UX gaps and suggest practical improvements.
• Document clear bug reports with screenshots, videos, and reproduction steps.
• Maintain structured test cases and QA checklists.
• Take ownership of mobile app quality across releases.

What you'll need#

• Extremely detail-oriented and structured thinking.
• Strong ability to test mobile app flows methodically.
• Clear written communication skills.
• Ability to think from a user perspective.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on suggesting improvements.
• Preferred majors include Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Operations Management.
• Helpful, but not required: experience with QA tools like Jira or Notion, familiarity with mobile release cycles, or exposure to automation frameworks such as Maestro.
