About the role#
Wahed is looking for a QA Intern to support the Product team in ensuring a high-quality experience across our iOS and Android mobile applications. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you will deep-dive into user flows, validate regional configurations, and ensure content accuracy. While this is primarily a manual testing position, there is optional exposure to automation tools.
What you'll do#
- Test complete end-to-end user journeys within the mobile app.
- Validate newly developed features before and after release.
- Perform regression testing for every release cycle.
- Test regional configurations to ensure correct behavior across markets.
- Review and validate in-app content for accuracy, clarity, and regional relevance.
- Identify UX gaps and suggest practical improvements.
- Document clear bug reports with screenshots, videos, and reproduction steps.
- Maintain structured test cases and QA checklists.
- Take ownership of mobile app quality across releases.
What you'll need#
- Extremely detail-oriented and structured thinking.
- Strong ability to test mobile app flows methodically.
- Clear written communication skills.
- Ability to think from a user perspective.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on suggesting improvements.
- Preferred majors include Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Operations Management.
- Helpful, but not required: experience with QA tools like Jira or Notion, familiarity with mobile release cycles, or exposure to automation frameworks such as Maestro.
