About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Mechanical Engineering Internship based in Devens, Massachusetts. The position runs for three months starting in August or September 2026. You will work on-site to support the engineering organization across various stages of technical development.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and test prototype machine systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Analyze machine performance to develop and implement solutions for industrial-scale metal 3D printer systems.
- Assist the engineering team in identifying manufacturing issues and developing data-driven solutions to support business objectives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Mechanical Engineering program.
- A basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-collaborative teams.
- Previous experience through internships, co-ops, or hands-on projects.
- Exposure to manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with CAD software.
