The Brand Marketing Communications Intern will support Volvo Trucks North America with marketing and exhibition efforts. This role provides exposure to trade show logistics, dealer communications, and cross-functional project management within a global manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate major Volvo Trucks North America events, including trade shows, media events, product launches, and specialized dealer or customer events.
- Manage merchandise needs, including tracking inventory status and maintaining organization.
- Write and compile a weekly newsletter for Volvo Truck dealers.
- Assist with cross-functional communication between departments to track deliverables and project timelines.
- Support the creation and management of Operating Program Requests and event budget tracking documentation.
- Utilize software tools including Microsoft Office, Cvent, and Microsoft Forms.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Completion of at least 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies prior to the start of the internship.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to manage complex tasks, balance multiple assignments, and adhere to timelines.

- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Hours: Up to 30 hours per week.
- Compensation: $17.00 - $46.00 per hour, based on factors including academic classification and degree program.
