About the role#
Veracyte is seeking a detail-oriented intern to join the PMO team for a project focused on AI prompt development and agent creation using Microsoft Copilot. This part-time role involves designing and improving lightweight AI agents to support project management workflows, making project information easier to access, summarize, and act on.
What you'll do#
- Design, test, and refine AI prompts to support PMO use cases, including project status summaries, risk tracking, and meeting preparation.
- Build and organize Copilot-based agents to streamline PMO processes across data ecosystems.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, clarity, and consistency, providing recommendations based on testing results.
- Document prompt patterns, agent logic, and best practices to ensure solutions are scalable and reusable.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into structured AI interactions.
- Contribute to a team environment that values curiosity, learning, and continuous improvement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to create clear, well-structured content.
- A strong interest in generative AI, prompt engineering, and practical business applications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and a basic understanding of Copilot or similar AI tools.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to assess outputs for accuracy and usefulness.
- Ability to organize information and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- This is a remote position based in the United States.
- The internship is part-time and operates on a rolling basis.
