VEGA Americas, Inc. is seeking a Legal & Risk Management Co-Op for the Fall 2026 term. This paid, full-time position provides students with hands-on experience by integrating classroom knowledge into professional workplace scenarios. Co-ops function as active members of the department with daily responsibilities.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative, organizational, and general research support to the Legal and Risk Management functions.
- Draft, develop, and maintain internal policy and process documents.
- Support contract administration, review, and compliance documentation under the supervision of the In-House Attorney.
- Assist with vendor compliance program benchmarking, tracking, and reporting, specifically focusing on improving the EcoVadis score for 2026/2027.
- Collaborate with the Safety Manager on Certificate Management and related vendor documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student in good standing (sophomore standing or above).
- Pursuing a degree in Political Science, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or Human Resources.
- Foundational knowledge in legal and risk management processes.
- Strong research and organizational skills.
