Part-Time Marketing Intern

About the role#

Vantage West Credit Union is seeking a Marketing Intern to support marketing, community engagement, and content initiatives. This part-time role provides hands-on experience in content creation, social media, data analytics, and project coordination. The internship is a six-month temporary assignment, capped at 30 hours per week.

What you'll do#

• Support marketing campaigns and content development across social media, email, website, blog, and advertising channels.
• Conduct competitive research and analyze market data to identify industry trends and evaluate competitor activity.
• Assist with community engagement, sponsorships, events, and partnership programs, including planning, coordination, and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams by participating in meetings and managing projects within marketing systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned while maintaining brand standards and compliance requirements.

What you'll need#

• Current undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate, in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Advertising, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects.
• Basic understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing best practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, photography, videography, or content creation is a plus.
• Must be located in Arizona.

Location & details#

• Location: Tucson, Arizona.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $19.00/hr.
• Requirements: Must comply with all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). The role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
