Urban Plates is seeking a Marketing Intern to assist in gathering and analyzing data regarding employee satisfaction and customer experience. This role supports the company's efforts to maintain brand consistency and operational efficiency as it scales. You will focus on understanding factors that impact workplace culture and consumer expectations within the fast-casual restaurant landscape.
What you'll do#
- Utilize mixed methods research, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches to gather insights.
- Administer a Climate Survey to staff across 22 locations using SurveyMonkey.
- Conduct a Brand Survey targeting existing email program participants.
- Analyze survey data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for the company.
- Perform similar and incidental duties as required to support the marketing research team.
What you'll need#
- A graduate-level college degree in Research, Data Analytics, or Applied Psychology is preferred.
- 1-2 years of work experience in a research role.
- 1-2 years of experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Proficiency with Google Suite or Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with SurveyMonkey and statistical software such as SPSS or a comparable platform.
- Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints.
- Familiarity with the Urban Plates brand and its menu.
