This is a hands-on, rotational internship designed for university students interested in the intersection of business and laboratory operations. You will support the team by ensuring systems run smoothly, gaining exposure to both the scientific and business sides of an early-stage biotechnology company. This role requires a flexible, dependable individual who is comfortable working in-person and taking on a variety of operational tasks.
What you'll do#
- Act as a flexible support resource for the operations team, handling a wide range of business needs as they arise.
- Assist with outreach, coordination, and scheduling, including email follow-ups, calendar management, and light research.
- Support the planning and execution of conferences, recruiting events, and internal events.
- Assist with documentation, tracking, and light data entry.
- Manage day-to-day lab operations errands such as receiving packages, restocking supplies, and coordinating equipment.
- Handle pickups, drop-offs, and deliveries for lab samples and materials.
- Help maintain lab organization and cleanliness standards.
- Rotate between lab and business operations based on weekly needs and company priorities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or master’s degree program, preferably in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- High level of dependability, organization, and attention to detail.
- Comfort with hands-on, in-person work and running errands.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and execute tasks reliably.
- Comfort working in a lab environment (training will be provided).
