This internship position within the Active Public Markets team supports the development of the public markets portfolio management framework. The role focuses on building, improving, and managing data-feeding monitoring tools for public equity, public credit, and absolute return asset classes. This is a full-time, paid 4-month position reporting to the Associate Director of Quantitative Research.
What you'll do#
- Develop data engineering pipelines and analytical software.
- Perform quantitative analysis on managers to inform manager evaluation and portfolio decision-making.
- Support the application of GenAI solutions to improve external portfolio management productivity.
- Partner with the Investment team to assist in documentation review, systems setup, and the implementation of business processes and technology solutions.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support key investment decisions.
What you'll need#
- Strong skills in software development and statistical analysis.
- Academically rigorous coursework, particularly in Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science.
- A demonstrated passion for capital markets.
- Knowledge of and hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs), agentic AI, or AI-assisted coding tools is strongly preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.

- Work Modality: Hybrid (minimum two days per week in-office).
