About the role#
The Talent Management and Human Resources Intern will support the department across various functions, including recruitment, benefits, employee engagement, and organizational development. This paid position offers 10 to 15 hours of work per week in a professional environment, providing an opportunity to gain transferable skills while contributing to the foundation's mission.
What you'll do#
- Create, design, and market materials such as wellness challenges, newsletters, and social media posts.
- Support the Talent Management and Human Resources team with ongoing projects and administrative duties.
- Assist with event planning, including contacting vendors, scheduling rooms, and managing event logistics.
- Develop resources related to CliftonStrengths programming.
- Provide reception support by greeting donors and guests as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate enrollment at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
- Demonstrated verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent project management and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Canva, with an aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Ability to exercise discretion when handling confidential information.
- Preferred background in marketing, communications, or design.
