About the role#
The People and Possibilities Intern will gain hands-on experience across various HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and internal communications. Working alongside HR leadership, you will support projects that foster team connection and contribute to an exceptional candidate and employee experience. This role is ideal for a curious and organized individual looking to develop professional skills in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Manage recruiting tasks including posting positions, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate communication.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding by preparing agendas and setting up workspaces.
- Draft companywide communications, such as newsletters and people updates.
- Support employee recognition programs and internal events.
- Assist with learning and development projects and general HR administrative initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or recent completion of a degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Location & details#
- Location: On-site in Denver, Colorado.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August through December).
- Hours: 20 to 30 hours per week.
- Compensation: $20 per hour, plus a paid parking pass and accrued sick leave.
