ECM Engineering Intern

About the role#

This is a paid, full-time internship for the Winter 2026 term, based within the Electrochemical Machining group. Interns gain hands-on experience by applying academic concepts to real-world engineering and manufacturing challenges. The program includes mentorship, weekly guest speakers, and professional discussions.

What you'll do#

• Use software tools to support engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Develop and document work instructions for various processes.
• Conduct data analysis to support operations.
• Provide both technical and clerical support to engineering and operations teams.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Perform additional duties as required.

What you'll need#

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, or Computer Engineering.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds safely.
• SolidWorks experience is preferred.
