About the role#
TripArc is seeking a UX Design Intern to join the Product Design team. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience designing tools used by travel professionals. Working alongside UX Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers, you will contribute to solving user problems across the entire product development lifecycle, from research and ideation to prototyping and testing.
What you'll do#
- Support UX Designers in research, discovery, ideation, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes for new features and product improvements.
- Participate in user research and assist in synthesizing insights.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to better understand user needs and industry trends.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other designers throughout the design process.
- Prepare design documentation, presentations, and specifications for engineering handoff.
- Incorporate feedback from teammates, stakeholders, and user testing into design iterations.
What you'll need#
- Current student or recent graduate in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Human Resources, Media Studies, or Marketing.
- Passion for creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences.
- Understanding of UX fundamentals, including user research, information architecture, interaction design, and usability principles.
- Ability to communicate ideas effectively through sketches, wireframes, and presentations.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and an eagerness to continuously improve.
- Interest in AI tools and their application in design, research, or prototyping workflows.
