Intern III - Seasonal

About the role#

This is a temporary, seasonal internship position designed to provide exposure to a variety of projects and assignments within the organization. Interns perform routine tasks under the guidance of upper-level staff and receive ongoing supervision. This role is intended for a duration of three to nine months.

What you'll do#

• Assist with drafting correspondence and reports for review and approval.
• Participate in project team meetings regarding budget planning and instructions.
• Perform word processing, proofreading, and document distribution while maintaining confidentiality.
• Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and record meeting minutes.
• Provide general administrative support to the department as needed.

What you'll need#

• Completion of at least two years of college coursework in Business Administration, Communications, Public Health, Human Resources, or Environmental Engineering.
• A valid Texas driver's license.
• Basic knowledge in the area of study and familiarity with mathematical calculations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and analyze problems with supervisor guidance.
