Software Engineering Intern

About the role#

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will join an international team developing the Trimble Business Center, a flagship office software suite. You will contribute to building tools that solve real-world challenges for professionals in surveying, construction, GIS, BIM, and CAD, while working within an Agile development environment.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with team members to examine marketing requirements, guide, and propose innovative functional designs.
• Develop, test, and maintain software solutions.
• Coordinate efforts with worldwide distributed hardware and software teams.
• Align work with various centers of expertise to integrate specialized components.
• Work within an Agile development process.

What you'll need#

• Currently a third or fourth-year student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest or experience in using AI-assisted coding tools.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to commit to a full-time, one-year internship.
