The Summer 2026 Legal Internship is a paid position based in the in-house legal department of Tradeweb. Reporting directly to the Corporate Counsel, this role provides hands-on experience within a financial technology firm. Interns will engage in both project-based work and practical assignments to develop their professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Assist the legal department with a variety of transactional and corporate matters.
- Draft and negotiate contracts and other corporate legal documents.
- Provide support to Tradeweb’s internal business teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a first-year law student in an ABA-accredited law school.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills regarding complex issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and a strong desire to learn.
- Demonstrated interest in corporate law and the financial or technology industries.
- Previous practical legal experience in a corporate or law firm environment is preferred, though not required.
