Semester Sales Internship - University of Tampa

About the role#

This sales internship offers an opportunity to develop professional sales skills through a structured, collaborative program. Interns work 8 hours per week from September 21st to November 13th, 2026, gaining experience in prospecting and client communication. The role is paid at $15 per hour.

What you'll do#

• Book appointments with qualified leads over the phone.
• Act as a sales development representative using prospecting tools to identify selling opportunities.
• Participate in live corporate Zoom training and weekly small group calls.
• Collaborate with local and nationwide interns while working alongside sales mentors.
• Gain an in-depth understanding of the requirements for success in professional sales.

What you'll need#

• Must be an active student at the University of Tampa with a graduation date by Summer 2027.
• Ability to attend two in-person on-campus workshops during weeks 2 and 6 of the program.
• Ability to attend Friday live Zoom training sessions.
• Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Psychology, though the program is open to hard-working individuals seeking to develop sales skills.
