About the role#
The Digital Content Creator Intern will gain hands-on experience in a mission-driven media organization. This paid, grant-funded position provides exposure to multiplatform content production and audience engagement, with opportunities to contribute to both national and local projects. This is a part-time role requiring 20–25 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist with social-first content creation and digital storytelling.
- Support audience engagement initiatives across various digital platforms.
- Research audience trends and emerging media formats.
- Contribute to short-form video, podcast, and multimedia projects.
- Assist with production, editing, and content development.
- Participate in creative brainstorming and content experimentation.
What you'll need#
- Fewer than two years of professional experience in media, communications, content creation, or a related field.
- A demonstrated interest in digital content, social media, and audience engagement.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: video editing, social media content creation, journalism, storytelling, podcast production, motion graphics, or multimedia production tools.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or Graphic Design.
