About the role#
The QA Technician Intern supports the implementation of quality standards and the Quality Management System at the Simcoe facility. This role focuses on ensuring product safety, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving quality improvement initiatives across production cycles.
What you'll do#
- Support the implementation and evaluation of quality testing programs to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Verify procedures for controlling non-conforming materials and products.
- Assist with the calibration and maintenance program for inspection and testing equipment.
- Monitor product fill parameters and verify compliance.
- Maintain systems for recording and preserving quality data.
- Participate in Quality and Food Safety process improvement teams.
- Utilize digital systems and tools to identify and reduce quality losses.
- Analyze supplier performance data to improve the quality of inbound materials.
- Support internal and external audits, GMP inspections, and certification processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree or post-secondary diploma program in Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Ability to think end-to-end and take ownership of results.
- Comfort working within a fast-moving and evolving organization.
- Commitment to collaboration, clarity, and low-ego ways of working.
