About the role#
The Social Media Internship for Fall 2026 provides hands-on experience within the entertainment industry. Interns work directly with the Social Media and Public Relations teams to support influencer relations, content creation, and community management. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
What you'll do#
- Attend weekly intern meetings to discuss current projects and learn about theme park operations.
- Assist the social media team in executing interactive efforts, including influencer partnerships and content scheduling.
- Collaborate with the Public Relations and Social Media teams to support park events and media visits.
- Monitor social media channels daily to identify issues or opportunities.
- Assist with social media analytics tracking and evaluate results to help improve future strategies.
- Work with personnel to obtain, develop, and proof content for campaigns.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Current junior-level status or higher at a college, university, or technical school.
- Academic concentration in Communications, Social Media, Marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills to manage daily digital content.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles according to company policy, including holding a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform work in varying weather conditions.
