Summer Internship Program 2026 - Supply Chain Intern

About the role#

The Supply Chain Intern will support the coordination and execution of outsourced manufacturing and material flows across active field deployment programs. This role involves working closely with the Supply Chain, Operation Services, and Field Services teams to ensure materials and resources are available on time and aligned with project schedules. This position provides hands-on exposure to supply chain operations within a field services environment.

What you'll do#

• Support the outsourced manufacturing process, including the creation of AutoCAD drawings, purchase orders, vendor follow-ups, and delivery confirmations.
• Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery rates, accuracy, and responsiveness, escalating issues as needed.
• Maintain and update supply chain tracking tools, dashboards, and databases to ensure accurate and real-time information.
• Participate in coordination calls with vendors and internal stakeholders to track action items.
• Assist in identifying and resolving supply chain disruptions such as delays, shortages, or incorrect shipments.
• Support data analysis related to material usage, forecasting accuracy, and cost trends to identify efficiency improvements.
• Maintain documentation including purchase orders, delivery records, supplier agreements, and inventory reports.
• Contribute to post-project reviews by analyzing supply chain performance and documenting recommendations for improvement.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a program related to Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations Management, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to align material requirements with project schedules.
