PGM Intern/Assistant Golf Pro

About the role#

The PGM Intern/Assistant Golf Professional supports the golf team in delivering service at a Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond resort. This role involves assisting golf professionals and the director of golf with daily operations, tournament management, and guest services across two golf courses.

What you'll do#

• Register golfers for the East and West courses.
• Assist with member tournaments, special events, junior golf programs, and guest clinics.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all golf operations areas.
• Perform golf club grip replacement and repair.
• Assist with inventory management and purchasing processes.
• Play rounds of golf with members and guests when required.
• Complete the Broadmoor Golf Training Course Curriculum.
• Gain proficiency in golf operations, including budgeting, scheduling, and tournament logistics.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a fully accredited Golf Management program.
• High school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of golf club grip replacement and repair.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 100 pounds.
• Willingness to work in an environment with exposure to outdoor weather, mechanical parts, and chemicals.

• Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $17.00 per hour.
• Status: Full-time.
