CMT Laboratory Intern

About the role#

This internship offers practical exposure to construction materials testing (CMT) and laboratory operations. You will work alongside experienced professionals to turn classroom learning into real-world experience, contributing to active projects while developing foundational consulting skills. The program includes participation in a nationwide internship cohort.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments.
• Support active project work and observe how technical decisions impact clients and the community.
• Build skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report development.
• Learn safe field and laboratory practices, ASTM, DOT, and COE testing standards, and project management fundamentals.
• Receive mentorship from professionals and participate in a nationwide internship cohort program.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Business Administration, or related technical fields.
• An interest in consulting and fieldwork.
• Demonstrated curiosity, teamwork, and alignment with company values.
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable violation history may be required.
