The Sales Fellowship is a paid 16-week, in-person program based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This fellowship is designed to train and up-skill individuals who are passionate about a career in technology sales. Participants will receive hands-on training in a collaborative environment and will be considered for a full-time Sales Development Representative position upon completion of the program.
What you'll do#
- Serve as the first point of contact for new business prospects, primarily through cold calling.
- Prospect, research, and identify new leads using online and industry-specific searches.
- Move prospects through the sales funnel by setting appointments for the sales team.
- Follow up with prospects who missed scheduled demonstrations to reschedule.
- Identify key decision-makers within prospect organizations.
- Maintain and update sales tools with accurate, current information.
- Coordinate with the sales team to develop and grow the sales pipeline.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and products to add value to clients.
What you'll need#
- A strong desire to pursue a career as a Sales Development Representative.
- Exceptional phone and writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as a productive member of a team.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment.
- Resilience in dealing with obstacles and a focus on achieving goals.
- Majors in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Psychology are relevant, though the program is open to those from diverse professional backgrounds.
