About the role#
As a TenarisUniversity Trainee, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of training programs aligned with business needs and employee development. This is a temporary, part-time position involving 20 hours per week over a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension.
What you'll do#
- Identify training gaps by analyzing KPIs and following training campaigns.
- Negotiate with internal and external trainers to facilitate learning processes.
- Coordinate logistics for training events, including participant communication and room setup.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training activities and measure performance.
- Update training progress records and prepare reports for management.
What you'll need#
- Working toward or recently completed a post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Engineering, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power BI.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple, shifting priorities.
- Detail-oriented approach with solid follow-up and analytical capabilities.
Location & details#
- Location: Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: On-site in an office environment within a steel manufacturing facility.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
- Compensation: $24.00 – $33.50 per hour, based on experience, education, and skills.
