About the role#
Taylor Print & Visual Impressions is seeking a Quality - Safety Intern to support operations at the Bloomington, Illinois facilities. This role reports to the Quality Assurance Specialist and involves maintaining safety and quality standards across the organization. This is a paid, part-time internship requiring a minimum commitment of 6 weeks.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the maintenance and implementation of safety programs at the facility.
- Ensure operational compliance with OSHA, EPA, and corporate safety requirements.
- Collaborate with all departments to support the Quality Management System and maintain ISO certification.
- Verify that safety and quality processes are followed and that all employees remain current on required training.
- Interact with corporate quality and safety personnel as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Health Administration, Public Health, Nursing, Psychology, or Chemical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Location & details#
- Location: Bloomington, Illinois.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Flexible hours, 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
- Compensation: $15 per hour.
