Intern Engineering

About the role#

TASI Measurement is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to join the team in Danbury, Connecticut, for the Summer 2026 term. This full-time, on-site internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software development within the measuring and control instrument manufacturing industry. You will work alongside senior engineers on real-world projects, focusing on application design, development, and testing.

What you'll do#

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications using Visual Studio.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to understand project requirements and contribute to software architecture discussions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in C#, C++, or VB.NET.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Document code and processes to support team knowledge sharing.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio and experience programming in C#, C++, or VB.NET.
• Basic understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
