Student Living Leasing Specialist

About the role#

Tarantino Properties is seeking a Leasing Specialist for a student housing community in Houston, Texas. This full-time, on-site role focuses on maintaining occupancy through effective sales, marketing, and relationship management.

What you'll do#

• Conduct property tours for prospective residents and visitors.
• Build and maintain relationships with current and future residents to ensure satisfaction and lease renewals.
• Generate leads through consistent follow-up via phone and email.
• Develop and execute marketing plans to sustain occupancy and support leasing campaigns.
• Create engaging content for social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Participate in on-site marketing initiatives, resident events, and campus engagement activities.
• Analyze leasing activity and traffic to identify conversion opportunities.

What you'll need#

• Previous experience in leasing, sales, customer service, hospitality, student housing, or multifamily properties is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with prospective residents and parents.
• Proficiency in managing leads, follow-up activities, and CRM or property management records.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Competency with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn property management software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, during peak leasing periods.
• Reliable transportation for outreach and local marketing efforts.
• Academic background in Business Administration, Marketing, or Real Estate.
