About the role#
The Procurement Intern supports the procurement and supply chain team in sourcing, vendor management, purchasing operations, and process improvement initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams on procurement activities that impact organizational performance.
What you'll do#
- Assist with sourcing activities, including researching suppliers, gathering quotes, and evaluating vendor capabilities.
- Support purchase order creation, tracking, and follow-up to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Analyze supplier data, pricing trends, and spend categories to support cost-saving initiatives.
- Help maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation.
- Participate in supplier onboarding and performance evaluation processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Finance, Operations, and Legal, to clarify requirements and ensure procurement compliance.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards related to procurement activities.
What you'll need#
- Current student or recent graduate in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Interest in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management.
